Got our TiVo service? Then you don’t need your remote to see what’s on your box. Virgin TV Anywhere lets you manage your content from a web browser, whether you're in front of your TV or at your desk in the office.

Didn’t record? Don’t despair

So you’re on holiday and suddenly it hits you that you forgot to set your TiVo box to record The Forgotten. Don’t panic. Just grab your PC or Mac and you can get your TiVo box to record anything you like even though you’re not home.

Use your thumbs

Thumbs tell your TiVo box what you like and don’t like so that it can recommend and record shows it thinks you'll like. If you use your Thumbs at home on your TiVo remote, you can edit or delete them in TV Anywhere so that even better recommendations are waiting for you when you get home.

Manage recordings, WishLists™ and more

To get started, select Manage My TiVo from the Virgin TV Anywhere menu. You’ll need to sign in using your My Virgin Media username and password. If you don't know them, you can find your details here. Then take your pick from the choices below.

My shows
Here you can see what you’ve got on your box and delete shows if you want to free up some space.

My planned recordings
This is where you can see shows you’ve set to record and fix any clashes so you never miss your favourites.

My series links
Change series link options, like how much time to allow before and after you record and when a show should be deleted.

My WishLists
See, edit or remove your WishLists.

My thumbs
Rating shows you like or dislike helps TiVo make even more clever recommendations for you. Here you can see what you’ve given the thumbs up or thumbs down.

Copy settings
If you’ve got more than one TiVo box in your home you can copy your recording settings, Thumbs information & WishLists from one TiVo box to the other.

Favourite channels
Set up your favourite channels and they’ll show at the top of the listings.

Watch later playlists
Add On Demand shows to a playlist to watch later, and then you can remove them!

Recording a show remotely

Step 1

Open Virgin TV Anywhere in your web browser.

Select TV Listings from the Virgin TV Anywhere menu.

Step 2

Browse through the listings for something to watch.

Step 3

Choose your region and make sure the channel that you wish to watch is in your TV package.

It’s important to select your correct TV region at the top of the page. If you select the wrong region, your record request will not work, even if the show you want to record is on in your area. Find your region (PDF)

Step 4

Click on the show you’d like to watch, then choose whether you want to record a single episode or an entire series. Your clever TiVo box will do the rest!
