Along with free servicing and technical support, your Virgin Broadband package includes PC Healthcheck, a smart bit of software that optimises your computer so that you can get on with enjoying your superfast broadband. You can download it for free from the My Apps section of My Virgin Media once your broadband has been activated.
What PC Healthcheck does:
- Scans your computer every day for problems
- Fixes common performance problems
- Reviews your anti virus, anti spyware, firewall settings and wireless security and warns you of any problems
- Tunes up your computer so it runs as quickly and efficiently as possible
Live Expert Help from £6 a month
For expert help with all your other electronic devices around the house, like printers, digital cameras or mobile phones, you can pay a little bit more for Live Expert Help. Live Expert Help gives you the reassurance of round the clock technical support over the phone or we're happy to do one off fixes if you prefer.
What Live Expert Help does:
- Our experts can fix 90% of problems with computers, printers, routers, digital cameras and mobile phones
- When there's a problem, you just click a desktop icon to chat to an expert, or call us directly
- We fix problems by accessing your PC remotely (only with your permission) so you don't even need to leave the house

Total peace of mind starts from just £6 a month for one computer. Or, if you don't fancy signing up to a package, you can pay for a one off fix whenever you have a problem – it's completely up to you. To get Live Expert Help, just go to the My Apps section of My Virgin Media once your broadband has been activated.

If you don't subscribe to either package, we offer a one off service to fix issues big and small. You'll get an initial free consultation with one of our tech team before we do any chargeable work. One off fixes come with our 'no fix, no fee' promise and a seven day guarantee. |
The legal stuff
Installation: Installation charges apply (starting from £36 for standard install).
Payment: Direct Debit or credit card payment only. This offer requires you to pay by Direct Debit and use eBilling. If you prefer not to pay by Direct Debit you will incur a £5 payment handling charge payable to Virgin Media Payments Ltd. If you would like paper bills the fee is £1.75
Money back guarantee: Available to new customers and existing customers taking a new service. Call us within 28 days of activation for a refund of your first month’s rental charges and any installation charge. You will only be charged for transactions (calls, purchases, service upgrades) occurring after activation. Statutory rights are not affected.
Speed: Speeds referred to are download speeds. Minimum computer requirements apply. Speed of internet connection assumes components working at optimum speed and capacity. Speeds are affected by all the usual things outside our control and how far you live from the telephone exchange.
Wireless kit: The wireless kit is provided at no additional charge, subject to availability, and is only available to new broadband customers. Only one wireless kit is available per customer. £6.99 wireless router delivery fee applies to all new subscriptions. Other charges may apply.
Connection and setup: A one-off £36 charge applies to all customers taking National Broadband.
Minimum term: All new connections are subject to a 12 month minimum term when you buy online. If you cancel during the minimum contract period, you will incur an early termination charge, and if you transfer to another provider without using a MAC you may also have to pay a disconnection fee.
Virgin Media Security: Security features not available to Mac users.
Downloading: Copyright owner's permission may be required for the downloading of music.
