Our Freestyle Contracts are changing things up by breaking the conventions of old school mobile phone contracts. How? By splitting them into two parts: one for your phone and one for your tariff. That lets you do things your way and change your phone or your tariff whenever you like!

Available on all phones, it's totally up to you if you want to use the flexibility our Freestyle Contracts give you. That's why we call it Freestyle. It's new – and it's all about you!

Freestyle Contracts are based on a 24 month Consumer Credit Agreement provided by Virgin Media Mobile Finance Limited and a 30 day rolling Pay Monthly Airtime Contract with Virgin Mobile Telecoms Limited. You must pay off your loan in full in order to upgrade your handset.

Upgrade to a new phone early
 

Your phone is on a separate contract to your minutes, text and data. That gives you freedom to pay the phone off early and upgrade to a new model, whenever you fancy.

Change your tariff month to month
 


No need to worry about choosing the right tariff today for the rest of your contract. We let you move up and down between the tariffs you see above to fit your needs.

Pay only for your airtime after 24 months

   

Once your phone has been paid off over 24 months, it's only fair we stop charging you for it - so we do! After that, you'll only pay your monthly airtime tariff, which is on a 30-day rolling contract.

Here's how they work

Unlike standard mobile contracts, Freestyle Contracts are split into two: one for your phone and one for your tariff. Add them together, and that's what you’ll be paying each month. Easy.

Your phone

  • Pay for your phone over 24 months, in equal monthly payments.

  • Upgrade your phone any time, by paying off the outstanding balance of your phone. Then you can take out a new 24 month phone contract.

  • After 24 months (or once you've fully paid off your phone) you'll only pay for the tariff contract each month. So your monthly payment drops. Win!

Your tariff

  • Your tariff gives you minutes, texts and data to use every month.

  • Change your tariff up or down anytime, to get more or less data, minutes and texts. Who else lets you do that?

  • Don't forget, you can cancel your tariff contract with just 30 days' notice, but you will have to pay off your phone.

1. Choose the phone you fancy from our pay monthly selection.

We'll show you how much you'll pay each month for your phone over 24 months or you can choose to pay the lot in full up front.

2. Choose your tariff

Add the tariff you want to start on. Remember, you can switch this up or down at any time in your contract. Here are your options:

From July 2016 the charge for your tariff will increase with your July bill each year. Any increase will be in line with the Retail Price Index (RPI) rate of inflation at the time, and we'll always give you 30 days' notice of the exact increase each year.

3. We’ll show you how much you’ll pay monthly for your phone contract and tariff contract. It’ll be in two parts:

  • Your phone
  • Your tariff

Don’t forget, if you don’t fancy changing your phone or tariff you don’t have to get involved in any of the flexible stuff. The combined monthly total will be charged each month, so you’ll barely notice the difference between this and a standard contract. But the option to change it up is always here.
